We began our second unit today and started looking at light. We explored some ideas about light and saw some demonstrations with light. We finished the class by unsuccessfully measuring the speed of light with some very crude equipment.
As class ended, I assigned Homework 2.1 which is a simple reading assignment about how the speed of light was calculated use some very resourceful methods. There are 5 questions to answer at the end of it. I will be checking it tomorrow.
