Today we looked at how light travels by doing lab 2.1 - the rectilinear propagation of light. The is no lab report that is required for this, students just need to do the worksheet and make sure they answer the analysis questions on the back.
Most students have a question on how to do question #4 on the analysis. You need to prove that you have similar triangles with the diagram you drew in question #1. Then you use the similar triangle theorem. For a little refresher on what similar triangles are, here is a video from the khan academy
