After we had an activity yesterday on the rectilinear propagation of light, today we learned about the magnification equation and how it was derived from that property of light. Homework 2.4 was assigned and will be checked Monday.
Tomorrow we are going to the library to work on Assignment 2.1, an online Java activity where students will learn about the the different types of light and the electromagnetic spectrum. I will describe the assignment tomorrow at the beginning of class and then we will go to the library to finish. This assignment is also due on Monday, however you are handing this one in.
I handed back the topics for the major presentations today and well as the presentation dates. Make sure you to check your calendar to see if there are any issues with your presentation dates.
