We looked at projectile motion today, a direct application of vector analysis. We saw some demonstrations and videos of projectiles and ballistics. The important thing about projectiles is that the motion can be broken down into 2 parts, a horizontal part that is constant motion and a vertical part that is accelerated due to gravity. Treating each part separately, we can learn a lot about the motion of a projectile.
We started Example 7 in the notes today but did not finish it. We will finish it tomorrow as well as finish Example 8 and Example 9.
