Physics 30 - Sept 19
We investigated situations where two objects are undergoing different motions and related to each other some how. These are called twin object problems. The technique to solving these problems is rather complicated. It involves developing multiple equations with multiple unknown variables, solving this system of equations using a technique called substitution. After the substitution, we are left with a rather large quadratic equation that requires the use of the quadratic formula to solve. After looking at one example, I then assigned Assignment 1.6. Tomorrow will be a work period to work on this assignment.
