We started to look at some concepts of motion today. Time, position, distance and displacement were all discussed. We went over the difference between vector and scalar quantities and discussed how we show direction in one dimension. These notes are found on slides 31-45 on the unit 1 powerpoint.
We finished the class with assignment 1.2. On Monday we will look at the Bulletin Board project and hopefully handout textbooks. The rest of the class will be spent working on some of these assignments that have been assigned.
