In Period 2 today, Homework 2.6 was checked and then taken up. We finished off the ray diagrams with an example of convex mirrors. Assignments 2.3 and 2.4 were assigned and are due tomorrow. Tomorrow we are going to have our second scrapbook assignment. For those who missed, the videos for the assignment are in a previous blog post.
In Period 4 today, Assignments 2.3 and 2.4 were handed in. We then took some notes on the mathematical approach to finding the image characteristics. Some examples were done and at the end of class, Homework 2.6 was assigned. It will be checked tomorrow. Tomorrow in class we are going to learn a little bit about the applications of curved mirrors and then start the third unit on refraction.
