Today we started Unit 3 on dynamics. We talked about forces and looked at the concept of the net force. We ended the class with a quick look at free body diagrams and the significance of them. Assignment 3.1 was given at the end of the class. Tomorrow we will look at Newton's Laws of Motion and in particular the First Law of Motion.
In Period 5, we fired off the potato gun in really cold weather. Period 5 can look forward to starting Unit 3 tomorrow. We will probably (weather permitting) fire off the potato gun on Friday for Period 1.
