We started looking at uniform circular motion today. The quantities of centripetal acceleration and centripetal force were introduced and we went through examples 19, 20 and 21 in the notes. Tomorrow we will look at examples 22 and 23 and then have the rest of the class to work on Assignment 3.7.
Some important dates were given today in class as well.
- Lab 3.1 Quiz - Fri, Nov 15
- In Class Assignment #2 - Mon, Nov 18
- Unit 3 Exam - Wed, Nov 27
Write these in your day planners. As well, for those of you who did not hand in Lab 3.1 today, make sure you can get it done as soon as possible.
