ABOUT ALPHA

The department is blessed with 18 lecturers’ which include 7 Doctorates & 3 M.Phils.
ALPHA is engaged in the student centred activities like industrial tours, field visits & seminars.

AUTONOMOUS & CBCS

• Department provides the 4 subject electives of the current topics like Nanotechnology, Bio-Physics, Electronic Instrumentation, Quantum Mechanics under CBCS system for final year students.
• Provides skill-based electives like General instrumentation, Physics of graphics, Microprocessors and Electronic devices.
• We are equipped with one of the biggest laboratories in coastal Andhra pradesh.

Our innovative projects:

• Simulation lab to students
• School to lab programme in which nearly 2500 school students visit our labs.
• Social activities like SEVA(social educational voluntary association).
  Project work with latest equipment in ultrasonics, L.C, spectroscopy, electronic instrumentation, etc.
• Software training programme for blind people.
• ALPHA engaged in INDUSTRIAL TRINING PROGRAME
• Student involve in project work with latest equipment like ULTRASONIC SPECTROSCOPY,ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTATION…etc

Achievements:

• Achieved best association award for FOUR consecutive years
• All India NIMCET 2007 FIRST RANK
• In ICET 2007, among top 200, 30students were from ALPHA.
• Best NCC cadet of Andhrapradesh during REPUBLICDAY PARADE belongs to ALPHA (Vijay Kumar, DP57).
• The Department is recognised by the management as the Star Department in the college
