We started of class today by doing the refraction quiz. Many students were absent today due to WE day. For all students who missed class today and missed the quiz, you will be making it up tomorrow during the lunch break. Please come right at the start of lunch and bring a protractor, ruler, pencil and eraser.
After the quiz, we started looking at an application of refraction - a section of physics called geometric optics. We just started to look at optics and lenses by going over some definitions that will be important in the study of them. Slides 28-36 were covered in the unit 3 refraction notes powerpoint.
